In October twenty nine of the Foundr Friends took advantage of the Theatre Tours organised by our theatre and narrated brilliantly by Sherry Plant, to take a look ‘behind the scenes ‘ at NWT.
Sherry peppered her talk with many anecdotes including the theory that Victorian Theatre goers would promenade along the walkway between the Dress Circle and the Piano Bar.
Walking on stage we all got an actor’s eye view of the auditorium and remarked at what was a comparitive lack of space for performers on the two sides of the stage.
